UPSC Age Limit
As per the official notification, applicants whose age is between 21 years and 32 Years can apply online. This is the age limit for general candidates. Required Documents To Prove Age Limit
If you are a General candidate or EWS applicant, then you don’t need any documents to upload for age limit verification. You are considered a general candidate. Other than this, candidates have to upload any one document mentioned below.

Required Education Qualification – Applicants must have a valid bachelor’s degree from a UGC-recognized university.

Number of Allowed Attempts
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has set a fixed number of attempts for every category. Candidates of those categories can appear in the exam according to their allowed attempts. Here are the details.
- General category candidates are allowed to appear 6 times till 32 years of age.
- OBC Aspirants have 9 allowed attempts till the maximum age for their category.
