Traveling to London: Top Things to See

Traveling to London: Top Things to See

London, England, is one of the best places around the world to make Premier League predictions, but there is so much more to it. London is one of the best places in the world, and it always attracts millions of tourists every single year.

The entire UK has some terrific places to visit, but it’s hard to argue with what London has to offer as an overall package. You could make a list of about 15-20 different places to visit in London, but there are those that absolutely stand out.

If you only have a week or so on your visit to London, then these are the must-see destinations on your trip.

Visit Buckingham Palace

Buckingham Palace is still home to the monarchs of London, and that is also where they do all of the administrative work. Unlike the White House in the United States, Buckingham Palace is open for visitors throughout the year as well.

Buckingham Palace has been the home of the monarchy since the mid-1800s, and there is so much London history there. This might be a home, but Buckingham Palace also serves as a sort of museum with some very important artifacts.

Of course, you will want to make a stop outside of the gates and take a picture with the legendary guards that are on-site protecting the palace.

Tower of London/Tower Bridge

The Tower of London was first built all the way back in 1078, and different pieces have been added along the way. There aren’t many places in the world where you are going to see a real-life palace, but the Tower of London is one opportunity.

It’s hard to put into words what the Tower of London looks like as you are approaching it, and you’ll be even more blown away after stepping inside. There are also some great things to do around the Tower of London, and you will want to plan a day at this site.

The London Bridge is referenced in a popular nursery rhyme, but it is actually the Tower Bridge that is the most impressive structure in London. The Tower Bridge is the only one in London that can be raised up and down, and it’s a massive structure and an engineering wonder.

Westminster Abbey

If you are looking to find a place where Premier League picks won’t be made, then you will want to make a trip to Westminster Abbey. Westminster Abbey is one of the most famous places in the world, and you can stop in for a service while you are visiting London.

Just like with other locations and structures in London, Westminster Abbey is extremely old, and it’s filled with history. Locals will be willing to tell you stories about things that have taken place in the church and also about some of the most famous people that have visited.

National Gallery

No trip to London would be complete without checking out some history, and the National Gallery is the best place to get that done. Some of the most famous artists of all time have their artwork displayed at the National Gallery, and everything is preserved in tremendous fashion.

The Van Gogh pieces are some of the best in the National Gallery, but there is no shortage of terrific artwork.

Watch Premier League Soccer

If the goal is to make Premier League predictions today then the best place to do that is during a live Premier League match. You are going to find a couple of different options when it comes to watching soccer in London, but there is one experience that stands out above the rest.

The Chelsea FC Stadium is a must-see when visiting London, and you will get a chance to experience one of the best atmospheres in all of the sports. Chelsea has a massive following in London, and you will find that all of the locals are going to the stadium if they are playing at home.

While this might be a chance to visit some of the other top destinations without much crowd, you can’t afford to pass up on this chance either.
