Cricket West Indies (CWI) has officially announced the match schedule and venues for the upcoming West Indies versus India multi-format series, scheduled to take place in July and August this year.
The series will kick off with two Tests, both of which are part of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 cycle. Notably, the second Test match, scheduled from July 20th to 24th at Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad, will hold immense significance as it will mark the momentous occasion of the 100th Test match between the two teams.
Adding to the excitement, the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad will host a West Indies men’s ODI for the very first time on August 1st.
Johnny Grave, the CEO of CWI, expressed his delight in confirming the schedule and venues for the highly anticipated visit by India. He highlighted the significance of the 100th Test at Queen’s Park Oval, emphasizing the grandeur of this historic event between two nations with rich cricketing heritage.
